On a sidenote, can't get v2.3 to work at all so far. ITH/ITHVNR/Textractor (and I assume, AGTH too) still see Game.exe, so no probs there. Thing is, it can only find BctSizer's process in any case, and sadly, there it cannot detect any text threads to hook to. I only know the attach process through GUI: you select the window of the game you'd like it to attach to, or select the process of the game from the running processes list of VNR.

Also quite seemlessly integrates into the fullscreen-modes of the games it can be attached to. Takes quite a while to load up and occasionally bugs out, but has an online user ('Shared') dictionary and various leisure and qol improving options, and generally, many options, so all in all a nice thing to have. So VNR=Visual Novel Reader is a kinda bloated text-hooking and translation utility think hundreds of megabytes. Ok, hope that info helps to get you back on track.Click to expand.Okey-dokey. However, if you got a VxAce game that didn't make use of such a script, normally there isn't a way to resize the game window of a VxAce game (you'll notice you can't click-hold-and-drag on the frame/ border of a VxAce game in order to resize it).īut, there's a nifty little utility that can resize a window of a VxAce game "Scott's Window Resizing Utility" (free to use, but be careful in it's use as if you mess around with wrong options or settings it can mess-up some things):įor a little tutorial-video I did on how to properly use that utility to resize a VxAce game, you can see my video on that at: Hopefully that should do it (I did a quick test of it on my end and it seemed to work fine).Īs for making your own projects, there is a good alternative full-screen script (that also gives some windowed size options) that tend to be more compatible and I'd recommend rather than relying on the default Fullscreen mode of VxAce games. I'm guessing in your case that option is checked, so you would want to instead UNcheck that option, then run a playtest of the project to have the settings properly take effect for all VxAce games on your computer. Once any VxAce game on a computer is set to either run in Fullscreen or Windowed mode, I believe in reads the setting from someplace buried within the Windows Registry (I'm not sure on that as I've never had to fiddle around the RPG Maker settings in the registry).īut, here's and more simple and safer option what you can try that hopefully should work to reset all of your VxAce games back into launching into Windowed mode įrom the RPG Maker VxAce software, load in any one of your projects (or even make a new project).įrom the top Menu, click on "Game" and one of the options you'll see there is to "Launch in Full Screen". You could try updating your graphic drivers as one possible option, but depending on your hardware that may or may not work.
